Wednesday 21st October- year 6 WW2 day. Week commencing 2nd November (first week after half term) will be year 6 Art Week.
Hello everyone. We just wanted to inform you of some exciting days coming soon!
Wednesday 21st October- year 6 WW2 day. If possible, we'd like the children to dress as a WW2 evacuee. We'd also like to ask them to pack a small bag containing 3 items they'd take with them if they were to be evacuated (no expensive items please). The children will be showing these items to the others in their class; they will not be touched by anyone else, inline with Covid restrictions.
Week commencing 2nd November (first week after half term) will be year 6 Art Week. We will be studying Banksy as our main artist and recreating some work inline with his style. We will be designing and making a screen-printed t-shirt inspired by his work. We'd like every child to bring in to school a plain white, collarless t-shirt for their design to be printed on to. Please ensure this is labelled and they can be brought and stored in to school as soon as possible but preferably before half term.
